REVIEW || J.GLOW palette

July 30, 2016

Hey, Rare beauties!
Hope you guys had a good week, mine was good! I’m happy I’m setting goals and allowing God assist me in achieving these goals.

Anyway, if you are an active makeup/beauty addict, I’m sure you saw everyone anticipating the release of the J.GLOW palette by JACKIE AINA and let me tell you, this wasn’t a joke!Trust me to set a reminder like ten times because I wasn’t about to miss out on this one like, no way. As I expected, this sold out the same damn day! Girls weren’t playing out here, some girls even got up to four just for themselves lol. The support was so insane and cute.

The palette comes in a very cute, small compact with the five shades. A subtle gold highlight, a nude base color, a dark brown color, a silver color and a dark blue color. As usual, I swatched the shades immediately I got them and I was impressed! In my opinion, these shades are perfect for women of color.

Swatches, this is one application

The pigmentation is lovely, they swatched well and smoothly, the matte shades have a perfect formula- not too powdery and doesn’t feel gritty, the only shade I had a problem with the application is the silver shade but with a damp brush, you would get the perfect pigmentation.

I created this very simple look with the palette, I hope you like it.

I love the size of this palette, it is something I would always have with me especially to travel, you literally wouldn’t know it’s there! I love the shades also, it is perfect for every event- a party look, a sexy look, a simple everyday look etc. You can definitely play around with the shades. So yes, I love this palette and for the price, LOVE! I hope they restock so y’all can buy it if you haven’t.
