Pixi Glow Tonic Toner || Review

June 25, 2016
Prior to trying this product, I had heard a ton about it. It had been on my wishlist for so long, but the price kept pushing me away and the fear that I would have hated the product was an additional reason. I participated in a giveaway by Youtopia beauty surprisingly, I won this product! (This is how God works because He knows the condition of my account, lol.).

Let’s get into this!

Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner comes in an “inviting” orange transparent bottle, It almost colorless with  a watery-formula just like most facial toners. It has a pleasant, fresh fragrance and alcohol free which isn’t harsh on the skin and doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky.

Main ingredients: glycerin, glycolic acid, aloe vera
What it claims to do: evens out skin tone for a brighter, clearer complexion. Gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells, revealing healthy glowing skin. Skin texture looks and feels smoother.

My thoughts:
This is the first toner that didn’t leave my skin so dry and just being too harsh for my skin in general.
It is very gentle on my skin, dries quickly without feeling sticky, it moderately balances the pH of my skin and leaves my skin glowing! The glycolic acid helps to exfoliate my skin so my skin felt a lot better.
Sadly, I didn’t experience a drastic change to the smoothness of my skin, the texture did feel better, but when it comes to the LOOK, that is, the smoothness, that didn’t occur to me and although, it is a bad boy, the price is way too high (they need to cut it)

If your skin is doing fine and looks good, you aren’t battling with acne and skin roughness then you should get this product but if you’re experiencing the opposite and you are desperate for a toner that would get or assist in getting rid of acne, maybe try another product.

Honestly, I would definitely repurchase because this is the best I have found that is suitable for my skin’s sensitivity. After all is said and done, I would love some suggestions because the smoothness of my skin is a GREAT concern! If you have oily/ sensitive skin and you have a toner that works for you, please comment below!
